Lots of fun stuff to announce, share, and otherwise get excited about this week! First and foremost, we're happy to finally share some details on something cool we've been working on recently. As I'm sure many of you already know we've played fairly regularly at Joe Squared Station North in Baltimore since we first started playing out. About a month or so ago after exchanging a few emails they presented us with a very intriguing offer, host our own monthly showcase where we would have creative control over... everything. Needless to say it was an offer that we couldn't pass up, and thus, CHARM CITY TEAM-UP was born! Hit the jump for more info.

Charm City Team-Up is the title of our upcoming monthly residency at Joe Squared Station North. The shows will be on the first Saturday of every month starting April (April 6th to be precise) and will feature Secret Language and one other local band teaming up to provide you with 2+ hours of music absolutely free. For the first "issue" in April we'll be teaming up with Eliezer's Revenge for their debut performance. Who or what is Eliezer's Revenge you ask? Eliezer's is Elie, Jamie, and Sven's side project, a 7 piece experimental jazz/funk jam band consisting of a full horn section backed by Sven, Jamie, and keyboardist Ben Zweig. This band will be bringing some serious firepower to the small space that is Joe Squared so come prepared to be blown away (literally). We aren't kidding either when we say this is a "team-up", so prepare for some awesome surprises. We'll follow this up in May when we partner up with our friends Noble Animals who we met at the 8x10 back in January. Do yourself a favor and check them out, then come see us tear the roof off Station North in May. Details on our show in June will be coming soon so stay tuned.

You may or may not have noticed that the date changed for our performance at Second Chance Saloon this month. Unfortunately we had to reschedule to a later date, but fortunately enough for us that date is St. Patrick's Day weekend! Since you know you're gonna be drinking anyway why not come drink with us? We'll be playing Friday, March 15th at 9:30pm for a long night of music. Come enjoy the best holiday March has to offer with your favorite local band!
And finally for anyone who missed out on our show last month at Chapalas Blue Beetle Rock Bar we threw together the above compilation for you. It's got a little something for everyone, sax solos, hand claps, weird Jamie faces, etc. Check it out if you've got a hankering for more Secret Language.
